Magnolia Circle Alpaca Ranch ~ Texas

Kaneke and I are in Texas this weekend visiting her brother. The little white Alpaca in the bottom picture is Kaneke's namesake "Cotton Candy" and she is 4 months old. Alpaca's are known to hum and when you go outside you can hear them all humming. They are actually native to Peru but do quite well here in the Unites States. Alpacas are raised for their fleece which is very soft.

Jungle Zone

Hopefully this will be another good year for the Cincinnati Bengals. Kaneke and I have our Sirius Radio ready for NFL Sunday, the Bengals have just won their 1st pre-season game, and Kaneke and I travel to Cincinnati for the seasons' home opener against the Cleveland Browns. Nothing like the "Battle of Ohio" to kick the Fall Football Season into gear!

and.....they're ~ off

Yesterday, we joined Kaneke's Niece and Family at Yavapai Downs for a day of Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse Racing. The horses are gorgeous and so unbelievably powerful. After an afternoons' worth of wagering (win some ~ lose more) we walked away with a net.................. gain of $1.20. It was fun and exciting. Can't beat the price of admission of $2.50!
