2007 Wrap-up....
WOW ~ 2007, what a year
Kaneke and I had a wonderful travel year which took us to many exciting locations in many different states. We were fortunate to be able to visit the following cities and places:
* Albuquerque NM
* Santa Fe NM
* Taos NM
* Red River NM
* Eagles Nest NM
* Bisbee AZ
* Benson AZ (Kartchner Caverns)
* The "Big Island" Hawaii
* Kilauea Volcano
* Akaka Falls
* Various Camping Trips to National Forest locations in Arizona
* Roadtrip to Cincinnati OH (Flagstaff to Cincinnati)
Our adventures for 2007 wrapped up with our Roadtrip to Cincinnati OH. We spent the first weekend at my brother's house (Bob and Alice) where we met my Mom and and other brother from Florida (Marie and Dave) and nieces and nephews Bekkie Fink (and her kids), Cindy Morton (+ kids), Daniel & Dar (+ son), Sarah & Kevin Whitman, Katie Hulme (+son), and Jim Jeffery. Oh ~ I forgot to add a couple of dogs, Molly and Dozer.
The remainder of time we spent with our daughters Sarah and Katie and our new Grandson Casey Lee. Unfortunately Matt (Katie's husband) couldn't join the fun because he is currently in Iraq on assignment. During it all, Candy was able to bake some of her world famous holiday cutout cookies and babysit Casey Lee while I helped Katie with some winterization projects.
During our last night (Halloween) we were joined by Art and Pam Hulme. Pam, Candy, Katie, and Casey Lee sat on the front porch and handed out candy to the kids while Art, Sarah and I sat inside and ate pizza, cookies, and caught up on current events.
Our Cocker Spaniel (Molly) is a well seasoned traveler now and accompanied us to most (if not all) of these activities.
I think we will wind down the rest of the year here in Flagstaff. Maybe I can put a few miles on my new Harley Davidson Sportster, put up holiday lights, and prepare for the eventual winter blast.
