"I've seen the London Bridge in the middle of the desert"....john cougar mellencamp

Ummmm ~ let me sum this up in one word.....Incredible!

What a fabulous place! We were fortunate to find the Crazy Horse Campground http://www.crazyhorsecampgrounds.com/ and even more exciting ~ we found a campsite on the lake which was located at the mouth of the channel in which all of the boats use to cruise under the London Bridge http://www.havasuchamber.com/lbridge.htm. The channel is narrow where the boats enter from the lake so they form a single file line in and a similar line out. All day long ~ from morning till night there is a constant flow of hot boats ~ continuous entertainment.

Kaneke, Molly, and me.... we all sat in our lounge chairs and watched the show.....

But all good things must come to an end......

Getting our Kicks on Route 66

Taking our queue from the sign hanging inside the entryway to our 5th wheel, we decided that it would only be fitting that our 1st REAL excursion would be down the "Mainstreet of America".

Fitting wouldn't you say? Stay tuned for Lake Havasu pics ~ i.e. "Stash & Keneke (Molly too) Gone Wild"........

KOA ~ Williams AZ

Kaneke, Molly and I left on our Lake Havasu trip this morning with a planned stop-over at the KOA in Williams AZ. Along the way we stopped and looked at a few houses and properties for a potential move in our not-to-distant future. We are all set with our 5th wheel, sattelite TV, Cell phones, and wireless internet. Nothing like roughing it to make you appreciate the good life.

Molly was nervous the entire way up. We are at an elevation of roughly 7000 ft. and it is chilly here in the middle of the day.

We took a couple of pictures of our campsite to share. Molly loves her traveling food bowl that Kate and Matt gave her for Christmas. Enlarge the picture and check out her tongue ~
