Arizona Century Plant.....
Kaneke and I were on a recent trip to visit one of our buddies in the Bradshaw Mountains and came across a Century Plant that someone had chopped at the stalk but somehow managed to lose out of the back of their truck. The Agave (Century Plant) is a protected plant in Arizona but left in the road it would have been destroyed by vehicle traffic, so we brought it home and placed it in the house to dry. These plants are beautiful from full bloom to a dry stalk. I took these pictures to give family and friends a closeup view of this beautiful plant.....

That's really neat! Is it hard to take care of?
Sarah, taking care of the plant is no problem at all ~ it has a 2-1/2" stalk and it has been sawed off...... soon it will be dried out and an ornament (of sorts)....
If you put it in water, will it re-root?
